MENTAL HEALTH

Northwest Arkansas Head Start and Early Head Start supports the mental health of children, families, and staff every day. Mental health is a state of well-being in which an individual realizes his or her own potential. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. We strive to address our children's needs in all areas of development- physical, social- emotional, and cognitive. Our goal is to provide support and assistance to all those who impact the child's development within the cultural context of family and community.
